Is it a wine or is it a thoroughbred? It is both. Palomino is a Spanish grape varietal most typically used in the production of Sherry in the region of Jerez. However, we fancy ourselves a bit of a maverick here at Mount Palomar so we are bottling and presenting to you a fresh take on an often-overlooked varietal. The wine approaches at a gallop with notes of crisp apple and pear, and canary melon. The finish is round and juicy with a soft hint of oak. Giddyup!
