Quartet is a blend of varietals traditionally grown in the Rhone Valley in Southern France. They grow very well here in the Temecula Valley. The scents are earthy and perfumy with carnations, lilies, allspice and very ripe mango. The wine is medium bodied with bright tastes of plum, lemon zest, cranberry and spicy hints of anise and black pepper. Quartet pairs well with a broad range of dishes and particularly with beef, lamb and spicy BBQ.
Aged for 36 months in American and French oak barrels.
