2017 Castelletto Dolcetto
A small and limited production, this wine is produced using the difficult-to-find "classico" style which accentuates the bright character of the varietal while extracting the robust tannins.
Notice a bouquet of aromas that include blackberry, raspberry, cherry, plum, blood orange, cloves, with hints of floral. Taste flavors of dark stone fruit, orange, grenadine, pipe tobacco and black pepper as you sip this Dolcetto. We promise you you'll wish you had more than one bottle.
Extended aging of this wine was done in French and American barrels.
