2016 Cloudburst
Cloudburst is an iconic, robust, red blend of Petit Verdot and Tannat. Enjoy aromas of boysenberry, lychee, lime zest and hints of grapefruit, along with cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla and incense cedar. Notice flavors of dark fruit, hints of cocoa, pomelo, sweet tobacco, and anise. Prominent tannins are smooted and tempered by extended aging.
This throughly complex wine is ready to enjoy, however, it may be aged at least for another ten years.
Extended aging of the 2016 Cloudburst was done in a mix of French and American barrels.
